Kids don't do "sit still and smile," and honestly, that's where the magic is. I shoot relaxed, candid children's and family photography that captures your people as they really are: the giggles, the chaos, the in-between moments you'll want to keep forever. No stiff studio poses or fake grins, just a fun, easy session where everyone can be themselves.

It's a different approach to the old-school photo day. Using a long lens and a documentary style, I hang back and let things unfold, catching natural moments rather than forcing them. My background as a sports photographer is the secret weapon: years of shooting fast-moving action means I can anticipate a moment and catch it before it's gone, which is exactly what you need with busy little ones. I work with families, and also with childcare centres and early learning services around Melbourne who want warm, natural imagery for their websites and marketing.
